This is the coolest amp I have ever owned and the best example of this 60 plus year old amp I have ever seen. This is a very rare amp and won’t find one in better condition. I would love to keep it, but it’s necessary to move it.
This Gibson Starfire TR 1000 RVT was built in ’63 – among the first; “TR” indicated transistorized, “RVT” denoted reverb and tremolo, but “1000” was not for watts. Presumably, it simply looked big and authoritative. 1963 Gibson Starfire TR 1000 RVT
