The MIDI Fighter Twister is a bombproof tactile highly versatile MIDI controller. It uses 16 high-resolution endless encoders with push switches and RGB feedback. Fully tested, perfect working order.

Relative mode and velocity sensitive

A key feature, especially useful with Monome Norns or similar hardware/software is the MFT can send in relative mode (3FH/41H). In other words you aren't limited to 128 values, the receiving devices sees increments up and down and interprets them as precisely as it wants too. Also you can configure it to use velocity sensing to change values more or less precisely depending how fast you turn the knob.

Updated to the 2026 firmware (via the free Midi Fighter Utility 2.91+), which adds:

• A more diverse, distinct color palette, including white LEDs and the MF64 palette

• An optional 8-bank alternative firmware (currently installed) doubles the stock 4 banks. Note: the step sequencer is disabled in 8-bank mode, so it's a choice between 8 banks OR 4 banks with the Traktor sequencer; both are easy to flash back and forth.

• Bank-change animations, display sleep, per-encoder shift channels, and more

Condition: Light signs of use, fully functional, all 16 encoders turn smoothly and click reliably. LED brightness and color smooth throughout full ranges.
