This Vintage Neumann SM2c Stereo Microphone is in great condition. Its clean and has been recently tested throughout. The original Telefunken AC701k Tubes are very quiet. The nickel capsules have the original skins. They have NOT been reskinned.
This mic is powered by a modern stabilized Schaal power supply (Germany), with slow voltage ramp up, which is great to preserve the tubes. The mic cable is 25 foot long and made with Sommer (Germany) cabling.
The set also includes a shock mount, mic pouch, and a waterproof case.
The microphone sounds great and works perfectly fine in all polar patterns. The top capsule easily rotates 90 degrees to one side and 180 degrees to the other, making it very flexible for several stereo applications. This microphone is essentially a stereo KM56.
