The Behringer S16 Digital Snake is a 2U rack-mountable, 16-input and 8-output digital stage box designed to replace heavy, expensive analog multicore cables with a single Cat 5e Ethernet cable. It relies on Klark Teknik’s SuperMAC AES50 networking technology to transmit up to 48 channels of low-latency, bidirectional audio. It seamlessly integrates with digital mixing ecosystems like the Behringer X32 and Behringer WING.

Setup & Compatibility

• Mixer Compatibility: Designed to integrate seamlessly with the Behringer X32 and Midas M32 digital mixing consoles. It can also function as a standalone digital snake or connect to analog consoles via third-party digital adapters. 
• On-Stage Control: Features a bright LED metering system and a dedicated headphone output for direct local line/gain checking right on the stage. 
• Splitter Mode: Can be used in standalone mode as a digital splitter, sending 8 channels out digitally while routing the other 8 to the local stage monitor outputs.
