This is a professionally restored antique european trade bow, likely made in the Knopf school tradition in Mirkneukirchen, Germany. It's crafted from a beautiful brazilian pernambuco stick that's french polish finish has aged to a lovely dark color in the last 100 years. It is mounted in ebony and nickel silver, with bright pink and green abalone mother of pearl. Professionally haired with high-quality white mongolian horse-hair.

The feel is supple, yet powerful and responsive. It will create a bright, warm tone with correct technique.

Weight - 73g

Balance point has been adjusted to 9" from the rear of the wooden stick, which is industry standard.

The grip is finely grained lamb skin over a nickel plated copper winding.

The tip plate has been newly replaced with deer antler bone on ebony.
