Description
For sale is my Chandler Limited REDD.47 Tube Microphone Preamplifier, purchased brand new approximately 18 months ago and used only lightly in my private professional recording studio.
The unit is in mint condition, fully functional, and has lived its entire life rack-mounted in a climate-controlled, smoke-free studio environment. It has never been toured, transported regularly, or exposed to harsh conditions.
The REDD.47 is Chandler's faithful recreation of the legendary EMI amplifier used in the original REDD recording consoles at Abbey Road Studios. It delivers a rich, harmonically complex tube sound with exceptional depth, presence, and character. It's equally at home on vocals, bass, acoustic instruments, electric guitars, synths, and room microphones.
This has been one of my favorite pieces for adding dimension and vintage tube character to recordings, particularly on lead vocals and bass DI.
