Traynor YRM-1SC 4x10 in excellent condition with various mods including:

- Presence knob, which can take the normal channel from zero up to the brightness of the bright channel

- Bright switch value changed to make it, uh, usable

- Mid pot 0-3 is stock values, 3-10 goes to ground, slowly removing the EQ circuit, giving a fatter "tweeder" sound

- Slight tone tweaks to shift bass control to minimize flabby subs

- Death cap was removed and grounded power cable installed before I bought the amp

I can give more details for any of the above. Mods were done by Main Drag, Big Crunch, and myself.

Speakers are 2x Weber Sig12A-S, 1x Celestion G10 Vintage, and 1x Peavey Backstage 10810PA

Has original Hammond transformers. Built like a tank and will outlive all your other amps if well maintained.

The amp sounds fantastic, with lush reverb, some of the nicest tremolo I've ever heard, warm snappy/sparkly cleans and insanely punchy overdrive - both in that half-Fender-half-Marshall nethersphere Traynor is known for. Speaker swaps can change the character a lot - fill it with Celestions and you'll lean further Marshall, fill it with Jensens and you'll lean further Fender.

The only reason I'm getting rid of it is practicality - I use smaller amps to record and am not playing big enough venues to turn the master volume past 3. My loss your gain. Recommended period but highly recommended for a true rocker of any stripe who is in a life situation where you can push the power tubes on the regular.

Pick-up preferred but shipping is possible. If you buy it to ship I'll remove and safely pack all tubes, and the amp will be sufficiently padded.
