Not sure about the dustcap or "dope." Looks like a standard dustcap to me, but I am not the original owner (I didn't order this), so not 100% sure. Please see pictures for more information (they are part of the description).
No known issues. Some light marking present from taking in-out of an amp, but nothing glaring that I can see. Sounds great - very loud, clear, resonant.
