Up for sale, a 1978 Guild D-55 NT in near-mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Westerly, RI factory, this iteration of Guild’s flagship acoustic boasts all the classic features of this premiere dreadnought. This D-55 benefits from the work due an instrument of its vintage including a professional neck reset complete with compensated bone saddle.
Tonewoods include an X-braced Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back/sides, two-piece mahogany neck, and bound ebony fingerboard.
