Shadow Hills GAMA 8 - With 2* Iron Transformers - Rare - Extensively Serviced - Sounds Incredible

Absolutely stunning and as rare as they come - we offer our beloved Shadow Hills GAMA 8-channel mic pre rack, and PSU.

In great working order, all eight channels sound utterly incredible, with the first two channels featuring the mythical and oversized 'Iron' transformer option, which is no longer available in any other Shadow Hills product except the Mastering Compressor.

These are among the very best and most flexible preamps in the world, with three distinct tonal options per channel (Nickel, Steel, Discrete - and Iron in Ch 1&2), alongside a superb hi-z/DI, and a 15dB pad, for even more tone control to boot.

These never (literally never) come up for sale and we will regret it immediately, but a larger purchase is forcing our hand, and we need to be realistic!

Extensively serviced by SH's main man in the UK, all 32 relays have recently been replaced, alongside various op-amps and capacitors, and replacement of the original PSU, to ensure this beast lives another 25 years and more, into its own Golden Anniversary!

These GAMA racks offer significant benefits over their 500 series cousins (which sound great in their own right), both in headroom and sonics, with the sheer size of the transformers alone meaning you would need a hammer and an incredible amount of persistence to squeeze them into a 500 series rack, let alone one slot.
