This is a beautiful handcrafted ride cymbal from one of the most respected boutique cymbal smiths working today. The Foundation Ride offers a wonderful balance of stick definition, musical wash, and complexity, making it equally at home in jazz, Americana, worship, folk, singer-songwriter, and creative modern music settings.
The 22.5" size gives the cymbal an expansive feel and broad tonal palette. It delivers clear articulation under the stick while maintaining a rich, dark wash that blooms naturally without becoming overwhelming. The bell is musical and integrated into the overall voice of the cymbal rather than feeling separate from it.
The cymbal is in excellent condition with no cracks, keyholing, flea bites, or edge damage. Only normal signs of careful use.
I believe the youtube video is this exact cymbal. It is the same weight for sure and has a nearly exact sound so it is a great example. Wonderful cymbal.
