KUDU is an overdrive with a fun origin story: Dan Coggins (Lovetone) gifted Thorpy a modified classic in Christmas 2024—sparking the idea for a pedal built to make everything around it sound better.

It sounds excellent as a standalone mid-gain drive, but its real strength is gain stacking—pushing other pedals, shaping fuzz/OD textures, or driving an amp into breakup. A 3-mode clipping switch lets you tailor compression, headroom, and feel so the KUDU can match whatever you’re stacking into or placing after it.

ThorpyFX builds it the serious way: 1% metal film resistors, WIMA/Panasonic capacitors where possible, and robust gold-plated through-hole PCBs—low noise, high reliability, and consistent tone for years.
