Pair of vintage UREI LA-4 Compressor/Limiters (Silverface version) in good working condition.

Both units have been used in a professional smoke-free studio environment and are fully functional. Cosmetic condition is good for their age, with the expected signs of use and rack wear associated with vintage studio equipment.

Recently thoroughly tested and still sounding fantastic. I put in fresh new fuses as well.

The LA-4 is a classic optical compressor known for its smooth, musical gain reduction and fast response characteristics. It has been used extensively on vocals, bass, drums, guitars, and mix bus duties, and remains a highly sought-after vintage compressor decades after its introduction.
