Here we have a really cool transformer box with a a pair of large iron audio transformers. Ideal for adding some transformer colour and in a mastering chain. Based around the classic British Marinair, Carnhill transformers as used by Neve found in many pro audio units

600 ohm inputs with a slight step up which is great for a few dB of gain. Then into the output attenuation which allows for the inputs to be driven to taste while backing off the hot outputs.

• 600 ohm input with 600 ohm output attenuation controls
• 6 way output attenuation control
• Full Neutrik balanced XLR inputs and outputs
• Ground lift switch on line output
• Small compact metal enclosure
• Now fitted with hard bypass switches to A/B on the go
• You can get some "passive gain" around 5dB into a 10k load

Hand built and hand wired in England, fully bench tested and sounding as you would expect!
