The top is solid mahogany, while the sides and back are sapele plywood. The neck is mahogany, and the bridge and fingerboard are ebony.
It features an arched back design, producing a soft, warm tone.
The neck features the bolt-on joint unique to Baby Taylor guitars. It offers stable playability all the way to the high frets, ensuring a stress-free playing experience.

The entire guitar has a matte finish, though some areas?such as the back of the neck and parts of the top?have developed a sheen due to playing. There is slight warping around the bridge, but it is minor and does not affect playability.
As such, while it shows signs of use typical of a pre-owned instrument, it plays well and is in good condition.
There is plenty of adjustment left on the truss rod, and the neck is in good condition.
The original gig case is included.
