1960s Ludwig Pre-Serial Snare Drum In White Marine Pearl - 12x15

The writing on the inside of the shell indicates that this drum previously belonged to a Johnny Lee Lightfoot Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee. Original lugs are in decent shape, but show some haze, light pitting and general wear. Original hoops show a bit more pitting and some surface corrosion. Internal dampener is intact. Drum currently sports a generic strainer and there is one extra hole (looks to be an original hole) from a previous strainer. Butt plate is also generic but fits the original hole spacing. Aside from the red painted band around the middle of the shell, the wrap is is good shape. No major blemishes aside from one spot on the panel of to the right of the butt plate. Wrap has some subtle yellowing.
