Bozavox BVX-02 sonovox - Articulate any sound with just a Bozavox and your amp!

 The Bozavox BVX-02 is a classic sonovox vocal sound effect like they used in the 1940s and 50s.  Sonovoxes have been unavailable for decades, but now is your chance to own one!
 Choose any sound and amplify it.  (A 10 to 25 Watt amplifier is plenty.)  Plug the Bozavox BVX-02 into the "speaker" output of the amp, then hold the BVX-02 up to your throat.  The sound will be transferred to your vocal chords and you can make the sound "talk."  Disney used this sound effect a lot in the original Dumbo, and radio stations and advertisers used it a lot too.  (The Lifebuoy Soap "B.O." is perhaps the most famous example.)

FAQ - Where does it fit in your studio.

FAQ - Do I need two Bozavoxes? Why do I always see people using two of them?A: A single Bozavox works great, but a second one makes the result a little bit louder. I don't want to appear greedy, but if money isn't an issue, two Bozavoxes are noticeably better. The reason is because they cover more area on your throat. (Or as I jokingly say: If you have three hands and a really large throat, three Bozavoxes are even better!)

FAQs about the BVX-01 vs the BVX-02:

Q: What is the difference between the BVX-01 and the BVX-02?

A: The BVX-02 has 4-ohm impedance where the 01 is 8-ohm. The power rating of the 02 is 25 watts while the 01 was 20 watts. The BVX-02's plug is a little more solid as well.

Q: What does that do to the performance of the Bozavox?

A: The 02 will produce a louder sound than the 01 did.

Q: Is there any reason someone would still want an older BVX-01?

A1: In very rare cases if someone is using a vintage amplifier that requires an 8-ohm load they would want a BVX-01. Please contact me, and I will make an 01 available to you at the same cost as an 02.

A2: If you plan to use two Bozavoxes together and you want to use a "splitter" cable so you can plug them both into a single output channel of an amp, AND that amp requires a load of 4 ohms or higher, you would want to use two BVX-01s. (However, I would strongly advise you to consider using two separate channels (stereo,) with two BVX-02s,  or wiring two BVX-02s up in sequence instead of splitting them (parallel.)
