Selmer S 6604 Student Model Oboe (1970s I think) - Black

This is a good student oboe that was recently adjusted by a oboe repair technician who repairs oboes for players in the Philadelphia Orchestra.

I happily played it in high school but haven't kept up playing oboe in the decades since high school.

I recall that the oboe developed a crack at one point on the front of the top joint but it was repaired and played as it had before the crack after that. I inspected it carefully, but cannot find where the crack was. There is a closeup of the top joint that you can inspect yourself.

I am including various oboe paraphenalia as well for the new oboist owner: some music including a Music Minus One record and the oboe music booklet that goes with it [The music minus one is the piano accompaniment to the pieces in the booklet so the oboist can practice a variety of pieces with piano accompaniment.]; some very old reeds in case the tubes are still usable to make new ones [they may not be], and an oboe pin. I include all of this as a bonus but the additional items come with no guarantee and are sold as part of the package "as is."
