Up for sale is a fantastic player grade example of a 1964 Fender Jazzmaster!

The main flaw in this piece is the humbucker route that is present under the original guard! A cable holder that was attached to the side of the guitar body at one point. There also looks to have been a bottle opener on the back (hell yeah) but has since been filled and patched! A similar set of small patches are found on the front of the instrument, and near the lower bout on the side of the body! see pictures!

This Jazzmaster was toured around and shown on TV, and the guitarist who owned it originally decided to put some electrical tape over the logo in order to obscure the “Fender” name. when it was removed it took about 75% of the logo with it. See pictures.

A string tree was added for the “G” and can be seen in pictures above! Pickups were professionally rewound and sound great! Trem arm is non original. The Volume and Tone pot, as well as the knobs were replaced but the originals are included in the sale! The original pots are functional!

The neck was refretted VERY well and playability is superb on this piece all the way up the neck!

Truss rod is responsive and fully functional

The rest of the guitar looks to be original! No overspray is present on the guitar!
