This 75th Anniversary Fender Jazzmaster from Chicago Music Exchange is in pristine condition with only minor pick scratches from use. It includes the original matching Shell Pink case (the case does have a small sub 1/2 inch tear on the top back) along with all original certificates, Allen wrenches, case key, and the tremolo bar for the bridge. The stock Jazzmaster pickups provide glassy and jangly tones, with a 4-way selector allowing you to access the two pickups individually along with the choice of series or parallel wiring for the two middle positions. The tremolo system is also buttery smooth due to the Jazzmaster's unique bridge design. I've used this guitar on everything from punk, metal and shoegaze all the way to, you guessed it, smooth jazz and I have always been pleased with the results.

Ultimately, I am looking to sell as I have more guitars than I realistically use at this point and I'm hoping to narrow down the collection to a few "jack of all trades" guitars, even though it is my favorite guitar I've ever owned for cleans in particular. However, even for high-gain tones, the Jazzmaster/P-90 sound has an aggressive sizzle and bite that no other pickups can quite replicate.

It is currently tuned to E Standard with a fresh set of Ernie Ball strings on it.
