Dynacord Echochord Super — Vintage Spring Reverb Unit

Rare German-made tape echo and spring reverb processor from the 1970s. This is a serious piece of vintage studio equipment with characteristic warm, organic sound character highly sought by engineers and producers working with analog signal chains.

Condition & Testing:

• Powers on; indicator lamp glows
• All four instrument input channels respond physically (knobs and controls turn smoothly)
• Important: The tape capstan is slightly stuck/stiff. This unit requires professional service and mechanical inspection before full operational use. The tape transport mechanism needs attention from someone experienced with tape-based echo units.

What You Get:

• Dynacord Echochord Super unit
• Original power cable

Cosmetics: Black chassis with gold labeling in good condition. Shows patina consistent with vintage studio use — minor marks, dust, and age-appropriate wear. The cream-colored control panel and wooden top are intact.

For Buyers: This is ideal for collectors of rare vintage reverb/echo gear, studio archaeologists, or experienced technicians who can service the tape transport. The Echochord Super is legendary for its lush, natural reverb character — once properly serviced, it's a prized addition to any analog signal chain.
