1966 Fender Telecaster in custom colour 3 Tone Sunburst. Although the Tele Custom came standard in 3 tone burst the standard tele was Blonde only so this is a special order guitar. It’s had 1 owner from new who has clearly enjoyed the guitar but resisted the urge to mess with it over the 55+ years of ownership. Originality is excellent, original tuners broke and were replaced with mid ‘60s F tuners although I’ve now switched these out for new Kluson Deluxe repros for a more original look. The wiring has been tweaked for the more popular neck/both/bridge but it’s been done sympathetically so you could easily put it back if you so desire. Guitar had strap lock buttons on it when I purchased although original strap buttons were in case and now back on. That’s it, otherwise completely original as far as I can see.

Paint original nitro over original alder body - ES stamp under pickguard ‘Entered Special’ to let spray shop know it’s a custom colour. Few little black touch ups on top to dull down a few nicks.

Case is original and in really nice condition still. Missing 1 metal heel ball on side.
