Selling a fantastic sounding 1959 AKG C12. This microphone was modified by Stephen Paul in 1998 with his .03 Micron mod, which included reskinning the capsule with a thinner and more sensitive .03 Micron mylar compared to the original .06 Micron mylar from the 50's capsule. The mod also included a new hand selected tube, solid silver core wiring and a custom Jensen transformer. This mod was used in all of Allen Sides' Ocean Way C12s. This microphone has been described as "having the singer inside the speakers" it sounds so natural and clear. The low end is full and strong, midrange rich and high end detailed and open, the air on this microphone is unbelievable. The microphone works and sounds great. It's currently in use and available to demo. Includes the full system seen in the photos, mic, mic box, cable, power supply and shock mount. Message with questions, thanks.
