If you are looking for tank-like, maximum-security armor to safeguard your valuable outboard studio gear, power amplifiers, wireless receiver networks, or live sound processors on the road, this vintage Sam Ash case is built to survive anything you throw at it. Constructed with thick ply flight panels wrapped in a rugged black laminate and reinforced with heavy-gauge aluminum tongue-and-groove valances and protective steel ball corners, this case delivers true old-school touring protection.

With its Outer Dimensions measuring 6.5" Height x 22.25" Width x 20" Depth, this case provides a standard 4U (4 Rack Spaces) of internal vertical mounting room. It features a standard 19" wide rack rail configuration, giving you enough depth to comfortably house deep power conditioners or touring power amps while leaving plenty of room for rear cable management and ventilation.

Condition & Latch Notes: This road case is in Fair Cosmetic Condition but remains in 100% stable, secure working order.

• The Latches: The industrial butterfly latches are fully intact, unbent, and do lock down tight to keep the lids completely secure during transit. However, due to standard road handling over the years, they require a bit of "technique" or strategy to line them up perfectly and get them fully latched. Once clamped down, they hold rock-solid.
• Performance: The structural framework is incredibly solid. The front and rear heavy-duty metal rack rails are securely mounted, perfectly aligned, and ready to accept standard rack screws.
• Cosmetics: This case has proudly "seen the road" and wears its history openly. The exterior shows standard scuffs, surface scratches, road dust, and oxidation/tarnish on the chrome steel ball corners and latch hardware.
