Here is a beautifully worn 1962 Fender Jazzmaster in sunburst, a true pre-CBS example that perfectly captures the feel, tone, and character of Fender’s early-’60s golden era. Naturally aged through decades of play, this guitar has developed an incredible resonance and broken-in feel that makes it instantly inspiring in the hands.

This example features the original pickups, delivering the classic Jazzmaster voice, warm, woody low end with sparkling top-end clarity and rich harmonic overtones. It retains its Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard, offering a smooth, responsive playing surface with excellent depth and articulation. The original tortoiseshell pickguard is present and shows typical shrinkage consistent with vintage examples of this era, further confirming its authenticity.

Condition is very good for its age, showing honest wear and natural aging throughout, with all the vintage character you’d expect from a well-loved pre-CBS Fender. A truly inspiring early-’60s Jazzmaster that is resonant, responsive, and extremely hard to put down.
