Up for sale is a good condition, wonderful sounding Revive Audio Modified DBX 118 that sounds incredible and is in good shape for its age with very little wear (see pics)!

The service includes our full mod set for the circuit as well as: gain Make-up/reduction control, 1/4 Psuedo-balanced inputs and outputs and sounds excellent!

Classic DBX Vibe that is very comparable to a classic 162VU and uses the same RMS and VCA cards!

Complete with a 1-year warranty!

Circuit upgrade includes: Burr Brown input and output stage modification, PSU upgrade, complete re-cap of all the electrolytic capacitors and cleaning of all electro-mechanical pots and switches.

So the mods:

Burr Brown Opamps were put in to replace the old 4558's in both the input and output stages.

All of the electrolytic's were replaced with high quality upgrades.

PSU modifications with bypassing for the lowest possible noise.

The Burr Brown modification on these units in conjunction with the re-cap just makes these units sound: warm, large, dynamic and musical.

It can best be described as being: Warmer, with broader frequency response, increased headroom and a better three dimensional image.

It has been professionally modified by our technicians and given the seal of approval to go to work at your home or in your studio.
