Personal Thoughts:
This is a very cool ES-335 conversion and one that has been pushed in a really tasteful direction. Starting with a Custom Shop ’61 dot neck is already a strong base, but the additions here give it much more of a dressed-up ES-345 / ES-355 flavour without losing the feel of a great early-’60s 335. The mother of pearl parallelogram inlays make a huge difference visually, and paired with the gold hardware, gold-covered pickups, nylon-saddle ABR-1 and gold Vibrola, the guitar has a far more elegant and custom look than the standard dot-neck spec. The Varitone is another key part of the appeal, because it gives the guitar a broader tonal range and adds even more of that upscale Gibson semi-hollow character. A very classy custom conversion and one that feels much more special than a standard reissue.

Condition Report:
Mint condition. Modified from original spec, but presents exceptionally well overall with no noteworthy wear to mention.
