Vintage pre CBS 1964 Fender Jazzmaster 3-tone Sunburst with clay dots, transitional logo, L series neck plate, super dark Rosewood fretboard and lush red pickguard.

Good to very good condition. The guitar shows wear consistent with age, including light scratches, and small dings. The pickguard is warped at pickup selector, above bridge pickup, and at volume knob, all of which is pictured in the listing photos.

The guitar was professionally refretted by Empire Guitars in Rhode Island, where it was purchased 12 years ago. Contains original bridge and tremolo arm, and is currently set up with a Mastery Bridge (paid roughly $200, which I can include). The case is vintage but not original. All else is original.

A great-playing and sounding example of a mid-’60s Jazzmaster with the feel, resonance, and character these instruments are known for. An excellent player-grade vintage Fender with plenty of life left in it.
