The QRS has no computer in it. It's a blank slate and whatever presets were stored before the battery died were lost - and whatever presets were stored, if any, were user created, not stored in non-volatile RAM. On the keypad, preset numbers 2 - 8 are where those user made presets are stored and once stored, are non adjustable. The only adjustable "preset" is in any file, preset 1. This is why the preset 1 button is grey instead of black - its Quantec's attempt at showing the user that preset 1 is special. However, the default presets from 2 - 8 have room level off and the reflection level off and if the user is in any preset other than preset 1, the level parameters are not adjustable giving both the impression that there is no output and that the front panel isn't working.
