This all-tube, boutique tube guitar amplifier is the final version of the Goodsell Super 17. It’s the fourth version of the Super 17, hence the Mk IV | Mark IV | Mark Four nomenclature. This is made in 2015’s and is serial number signed inside the cabinet by Richard Goodsell. Shop reviewed, this one has been tested for functionality recent tube replacement and is priced to move! It’s in nice shape. Just lovingly cared for and kept in great condition. Sold as-is, what you see is what you get.
The Super 17 Mark IV 1×12 combo is a fantastic sounding amplifier. Its the Goodsell take on a Vox AC-15 with a special 3-way tone clipping switch for a more Blackface, Mid Normal or Top Boost vibe depending on its position. The amp also features world class Reverb and Trem. Its control layout is Gain, Bass, Treble, Speed, Depth and Master Volume. At 17 watts and with one 12 Goodsell speaker, the Super 17 Mark Four is compact, portable, lightweight and a great grab-and-go choice for a plug and play amplifier. Perfect for small gigs, recording or home use.
