Custom Fender Clone Pro Junior 2008 - Walnut 12"

Custom handmade Fender Pro Junior model

Prior to that build I used an original Custom shop Fender Pro Junior - at that time 1K in Europe - it was a pressed board stapled box covered in lacquered tweet or tolex, with a mass printed circuit board assembly and a 10" Jensen speaker. Sound wasn't bad just a little thin...... and often accompanied by some anoying hissing and humming.

This amp is basically an improved copy/clone of that Fender Pro Junior with 2 modifications -

1. There is 2 tone controls - one treble, one bass - made finer adjustments possible 2. And a 12" speaker instead of 10" - made it more "airy"" roomy"

This changes, in combination with the real wood box, altered the sound to a fuller, warmer and way more powerful tone - it get s really loud around 2/3d up . Also right around that setting the tone goes from typical fender clear pristine sparkling to gritty snarly, crunchy stuff. Always had a great sound - a Custom shop Strat and some pedals - mostly Hermida Audio -(both for sale on the site) did the fine-tuning. This amp served me well - almost 10 years in bars and smaller venues (about 150-200 gigs)

The only reason for selling all my good stuff - Im not gigging anymore.

The tube amp guru in Salzburg, Austria, who built that amp for me from scratch, used only the best quality parts - off course hardwired it point to point - which I tried to capture as best I could with all the pictures. The custom walnut box was built by a professional carpenter and fellow musician. Since the amp runs on 240V - a transformer is necessary for standard 120V outlets- which off course is included, as well as the "flight" case. This transformer actually also acts as power stabilizer, which ensures that it permanently works on the exact power level (regardless of fluctuations in the grit)
