Audio Developments AD 144 Small format mixing console with carnhill transformer pre-amps and coupled outputs

Recently serviced, fully cleaned and ready to go. Rail filter caps were replaced preemptively with nichicon audio grade, everything else tested just fine. The entire unit was gone over in detail, every card pulled, everything lubricated cleaned etc. was quite a hefty service and it's looking absolutely beautiful.

Carnhill transformers the preamps and transformer coupled outputs, preamps are punchy and warm with great saturation one driven. These AD units are often compared to vintage Neve but of course that's a matter of opinion.

The EQ is very musical and routing capabilities are more similar to a console than a mixing board. Superb for tracking, mixing, and analog bus or mix summing.

- Mid/Side processing for widening and balancing on every channel. Very cool feature.

- Every input has phase inversion and all stereo inputs have l/r invert on switches.

- Stereo master transformer coupled and fully balanced + seperate monitoring out with headphone and XLR coupled

- Seperate linear power unit for clean and quiet performance.

Total of 10 Carnhill transformer coupled outputs, every channel is fully balanced.

As always, sold as is - vintage gear will have its quirks and need attention always though the condition of this specific unit is exceptional. This will be packed with care into custom cut foam, ensuring it arrives in the condition it left in.
