This guitar displays some checking which is actually quite cool (see photos) It also appears to have undergone a professional headstock repair which must have been minor as the scratches on both sides of the headstock are very shallow. The repair was perfectly done and can not be felt in the slightest.*

The Les Paul Traditional Pro II '50s features a traditional weight relieved mahogany body and neck with flame maple top, Classic '57/Super '57 pickups, a '50s neck profile, and coil taps and a boost circuit accessible via push/pull volume and tone knobs. This model is distinct from the Les Paul Traditional Pro Exclusive which had a plain maple top, no boost circuit, and different pickups. They can be distinguished by the presence of a 9-volt battery compartment on the rear of the Traditional Pro II. This model was also produced as the Traditional Pro II '60s which features a slimmer neck profile and different finishes.
