Case appears to be solid structural wise. Latches, hinges and handle work fine. Looks like someone put duct tape around the edges to hold the covering down. I haven't seen what's underneath the tape, the wood could be coming apart in areas but if that is the case and if you are handy and have some wood glue and some clamps you should be able to glue it back together fairly easily. Interior is coming loose around the edges as you can see. Case has musty smell. Sold as is, please see photos for condition.
