Here’s a very cool 1980 Gibson ES-335 Pro with tons of vintage appeal and a great feel. This one is in Very Good condition and has the look, tone, and vibe players love from this era of Gibson semi-hollows.
A Bigsby was added back in the 1980s, giving the guitar a classic look and adding smooth vibrato capability. The block inlays were professionally installed, giving it a more upscale ES-style appearance. It has also had a professional refret, so it plays great and currently shows no fret wear.
Tonally, this guitar is exactly what you want from a vintage ES-335-style Gibson: warm, full, resonant, and very musical, with plenty of vintage character. It has that sweet semi-hollow depth and smooth response that works beautifully for blues, rock, jazz, soul, and roots music.
The guitar shows normal signs of age and use, but overall presents very well for a 1980 instrument. A great playing and great sounding vintage Gibson with tasteful upgrades and serious stage/studio appeal.

I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
