This is a seriously road tested warrior! Uniquely designed by and made for Rex Brown by Spector, this literally one-of-a-kind bass guitar was one of Rex’s main stage guitars in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Says Rex about this bass; “This was one of MANY prototypes that I had drawn up and had Stuart commission for me. This bass was played on just about every Ozzfest we ever played & that was a bunch. This bass in particular isn't as heavy as some of the production models. At a point they got TOO heavy to sport around on stage with all night!! Even though it says proto-type, this design went thru many different woods & necks. This is one of my faves!!”
As can be expected, the bass has serial #1 – which in and by itself already is an uber cool factor! It has Gotoh tuners, EMG pick-ups and was made in America. It comes in the original case (complete with two new packs of Dean Markley strings) and is overall in very good shape, with common wear such as a few light scuffs here and there.
Can you see yourself plugging in this baby and cranking out some classic Pantera tunes??
This guitar, which is signed by Rex on the back, comes directly from the personal collection of Rex Brown and will include a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Rex!
