For sale is a Shure PE66L from the early 1980s, which sounds great and was rebranded under Shure's professional line. The 66 uses the same cartridge as the SM57 and was also made in the USA before Shure moved production over to Mexico in the 90s.
The biggest plus with being this microphone over other offerings is the fact this one is refurbished with new foam. The plastic housing and grille also received a cleaning prior to the new foam being installed to ensure debris is kept away and this oldie keeps sounding as it should. The only caveats with this microphone are wear and tear to the finish but this microphone is as solid as can be and there are zero faults that can be seen as serious.
If you've considered a vintage 57, this is also a great pickup and valuable workhorse microphone!
