Early 1968 Fender Vibrolux Reverb in good condition.
35w / 2x10 (Celestion G-10S 50) / TAD tubes
This is an April 1968 "black line / drip edge" silver face which is the same exact guts as the black panel Vibrolux Reverb of a few months earlier. (the same AA864 Circuit). No different at all inside, just the new silver panel cosmetics Fender debuted in mid-'67.
*** After a lot of interest in this amp here on Reverb but a lot of hassle over how to ship it / costs, etc., I am dropping the price and setting this as Local pick-up in DC / VA. I'm not interested in trying to ship this anymore. Thnx. ***
I have owned this amp since the mid-90's and it was my primary gigging amp for years.
The original pair of Oxfords are included - both had been re-coned before I owned the amp. Assume that both are non-functional now and are essentially "cores" to be refurbished if desired.
I had the amp gone-through and re-capped around 2010 and it has seen very minimal use since then (Work & Kids replaced gigging!).
All Transformers & choke are orig and strong. Amp has modern 3-prong cord and I believe the reverb tank is not original (but it sounds soo good!). Original back panel was removed for pics but included.
Great real-deal vintage amp at a steal of a price.
NO TRADES please.
