Pioneer Qx949A 1976-1977

Up for sale is a vintage Pioneer QX-949A quadraphonic receiver, manufactured in Japan during the mid-1970s. This is one of Pioneer’s higher-end quad receivers from the golden era, featuring a built-in CD-4 demodulator and classic 4-channel capability.

Cosmetically, the unit is in very good condition for its age. The faceplate is clean, all original knobs and switches are present, and the wood cabinet shows only minor wear. The unit presents very well and displays nicely when powered on.

Functional condition:

- 3 channels output strong, clean audio
