Kept in a glass showcase The PRS Wind Through the Trees is a dual analog flanger, which is a bit of a rare beast compared to standard single flangers.
Since it uses two independent LFOs (Low Frequency Oscillators) that you can mix together, you can get those classic "jet plane" swooshes, but also some really complex, organic movement that sounds almost like a choir or a rotating speaker.
Key Features on the Faceplate:
Dual LFOs: You have separate Manual, Depth, and Rate controls for both LFO 1 and LFO 2.
The Mix Knob: This allows you to blend the two flangers against each other, creating that "comb filtering" effect where the frequencies cancel each other out in interesting ways.
Regen & Added Highs: These help shape how intense and bright the effect gets.
