The MPC X is a standalone music workstation with a color 10.1" multi-touch screen. The 16 RGB pads are velocity and pressure sensitive. Other features include 16 GB of internal storage, two USB slots (suitable for connecting MIDI controllers), dedicated menu buttons, a master encoder knob, 16 touch-sensitive, assignable, 360-degree controller knobs (Q-Links) with OLED displays, a SATA connector for an additional SSD/HDD, an SD Card slot, CV/Gate outputs, RCA phono inputs (for vinyl record players).

MPC X runs Akai's MPC 2.0 software, which can be run in standalone mode or from a Mac or a PC. The 2.0 software version includes new features such as audio track recording, a new time warp algorithm, improved Q-Link control and drag and drop. Included is also 10 GB of preset sounds (The Vault 2.0), from sound design companies including Capsun Audio, MVP Loops and CR2 Records. I t has less than 10 hours of use. Still in the original box with all manuals etc. Mint condition!!!
