Neumann Gefell M583 tube microphone with a little mod can be armed with M7 capsule and be the same as UM57. The schematic is similar, but 583 is designed to be used with small membranes and the body is slim and unipolar. Our item is exactly this : a 583 turned to UM57.
A chance to have the same sound for less money. The M7 capsule used for the project was never used and EC92 is brand new, so the condition is promising a long life use.The pictures are showing what was done. Have 2 of those, looking similar , but the price is for one.
