This 2012 Gibson R9 is a great one!
With a perfect medium 59 neck profile,
low output Alnico Burstbuckers, Bumblebee Capacitors, Abr-1 bridge and a vibrant cherry back.
The top is insane and changes a lot in the light and from different angles, the top carve is also nice and pronounced.
There are some minor signs of play wear on the guitar including a few small dings and surface scratches on the back and some bleeding going through the neck binding from the red aniline dye as was used in the 1950’s. The frets are perfect, the guitar is set up great and it plays like butter too!
comes in the original 5 latch Lifton style case with all paperwork excl coa , although it includes the historic hang tag with matching serial. Weighs just 3.9kg!
