Marshall JMP 1992 Super Bass vintage 1971 bass-head and JCM800 1553 cabinet for sale.

The head is equipped with the very rare Dagnall C2373 DE Output Transformer (OT) — a transitional model manufactured for a brief period between 1971 and 1972 in only a few hundred units. It shares the exact same construction specifications as the Dagnall C1998, which was used in the earlier — and even more highly prized — Marshall JMP Super Bass models from 1967–1971. The only change in the C2373 is the addition of an extra layer of paper insulation to ensure greater durability.

The Power Transformer (PT) is also the original version, featuring soldering on top of the copper layer to reduce electromagnetic noise.

The head is serviced and tested in December 2025 by authorized Marshall repairer with some original parts added.
The JCM 800 1553 bass cab is loaded with two Celestion K 10-70, 10" speakers and one Celestion Sidewinder S15-250, 15" speaker.

The head and cabinet's exterior bears the mark of a some wear, which the buyer, however, can choose to repair. You get a really cool classic amplifier and cabinet, which also at least keeps the sale price in the future.
