Up for sale is a Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp. This unit was recently inspected and serviced by an authorized Mesa service center and received a clean bill of health. A few capacitors were replaced as part of routine servicing, so they say it’s operating exactly as intended.

I originally purchased this hoping to dial in a DI tone that worked for my setup, but ultimately couldn’t get the sound I was after. After servicing confirmed everything is functioning properly, I’ve decided to move it along.

The preamp did not come with rack ears when I bought it, and it looked like none had ever been installed. I sourced a proper set and installed them myself. Since then, it hasn’t been rack mounted, so they are in great shape.

Cosmetically, it’s in solid condition for its age, with typical minor wear but nothing that affects functionality.
