This is an original 1970s cover for the mellotron 400. If you know the instrument this is what you would use for traveling. It has a set of buckles and belts on each side to strap it in. There's a nice little pouch in front with room for a pedal and a power cable.
This one is in decent shape, there are some small tears and repairs. But as you can see in the photos it is basically intact. It's hard to take a good picture of these without a mellotron inside - but we propped it up the best as we could. It would certainly look nice when stretched out and tightened up and transporting your keyboard. Email me if you have any more questions or want more detail.
