When I drove this Rickenbacker from Hollywood to Rickenbacker expert/luthier Paul Wilczynski in Northern California almost 15 years ago, it was a standard/stock 1999 fireglo 360. Paul converted it into a Buddha 360 by painting it pure white, adding two TV knobs (tone, volume), vintage pickups, custom gold pickguard/TRC and incredible checkerboard binding. He also added new, more sparkly triangle fret inlays and carved the headstock from “paddle-shaped” to vintage specs. This guitar is in new condition - not a scratch anywhere on it. It’s actually featured on Paul’s website. His description: “The modifications to this late-model 360/6 are obvious in the photos. A pure white finish was applied, and white back binding was set off with a .5mm black stripe to separate binding from body. "Checkerboard" binding was installed around the sound hole. The final detail to note is the very special pick guard with a shaded graphic of a Thai Buddha that was sprayed using a CNC-cut custom stencil.” Note that it has been in its case (a 330 case?) for over 10 years so it may need new strings and a set up.
