The Washburn AB5 acoustic bass is designed for players seeking warm resonance, dependable playability, and stage-ready performance in a versatile instrument. Its body combines a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, supported by quarter-sawn Sitka Spruce bracing that enhances clarity and projection across the extended low range. A Mahogany neck paired with an engineered wood fingerboard provides stability and smooth feel, while dot inlays guide navigation across its 32-inch scale length and 1-11/16-inch nut width, balancing comfortable playability with accurate intonation. 

The QPH preamp system features volume, phase, and 4-band EQ controls, ensuring precision in shaping amplified tone and making the AB5 equally reliable in rehearsal, studio, or live settings. Hardware appointments include chrome diecast tuners and a sturdy bridge, which contribute to sustain and tuning stability. Finished with ABS rosette, this acoustic bass emphasizes warmth, definition, and consistent response for a wide range of playing styles.

Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping within the continental USA. Items under $20 will have a $9.95 shipping charge. We do not offer international shipping.
We cannot ship to a PO Box. Orders require a physical mailing address to be processed.
All orders over $500 will be shipped with a direct Signature Requirement to ensure it is received. If the signature requirement is refused, the customer will assume responsibility for the package once it reaches the delivery address.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm CST. Shipments are prepared in the order that they are received. We make every effort to expedite orders as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee ship dates. Please allow up to 3 business days for tracking information.
