Vintage brass drum measuring 6x13". Likely Chicago-era (1920s–1930s) construction based on shell architecture and hardware style.
Features a solid brass shell with visible butt seam inside (expertly polished to invisible on the outside) and internal reinforcement strips. Both bearing edges are original rolled edges with no snare beds. The shell has never been drilled for a strainer, butt plate, or badge.
Art Deco–style cast lugs are present and fully functional. Shell is non-magnetic brass; lugs show light magnetism typical of pot metal. Modern chrome-finish head installed; original calf heads are long gone.
Structurally solid with honest cosmetic patina and wear consistent with age. No cracks, splits, or extra holes.
