legendary classic top midi sequencer Roland MC50. comes from the time when Roland was still manufacturing their stuff in the headquarters homeland Japan with top quality and genius unique mindset behind.
which makes things way easier, and you have a very reliable medium to store your sequence projects.
it’s a legendary sequencer, used by many famous. some big industry people still work on these. it has 8 seperate tracks, with dedicated buttons and mutes, has standart classical functionality, like quantize, merge, copy-paste, etc.
but also has weird functions, like changing length of gates on any tracks, according to user adjustable degrees, same with velocity. there are weird, almost generative track manipulations available, that sometimes lead to unpredictable results.
other than that - of course it can be used as very straight forward, convenient, predictable tool, that simply works.
